AFFILIATE MARKETING SPECIALIST 

The Affiliate Specialist will be responsible for the development and continued success of multiple affiliate programs focusing on the development of program strategy, execution and deliverables.  The iMarketing Affiliate Team model focuses on true ownership and accountability for results.  The Affiliate Specialist position will play an important role in driving customer acquisition by diversifying client programs through the recruitment of new partners, as well as the cultivation of existing relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of online marketing experience in Affiliate Marketing  preferably on the Commission Junction, Linkshare, or Performics platform
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone, through email, and in writing.
• A highly detailed oriented, articulate individual driven by results who can manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, collaborative, team-oriented environment.  Must be a team player.
• Strong analytical and technical aptitude.
• Understanding of the search engines and appropriate search affiliate guidelines.
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office and basic HTML.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work within Commission Junction and Linkshare to help optimize client campaigns.
• Develop key program strategies to grow client revenue through the affiliate channel.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and recommend new affiliate opportunities while increasing brand recognition and exposure for the iMarketing client base.
• Work closely with the Account Management team to develop and execute key promotional programs to increase overall program sales and ROI.
• Identify and manage program trends to create positive growth for client base.
• Identify and increase key affiliate partnerships through recruitment efforts.
• Manage the development and distribution of key communication to internal and external parties including newsletters and email communications.
• Manage application process with internal resources.
• Maintain affiliate database, commission structure, reporting, forecasting and budgets.
• Generate and analyze search and affiliate campaign reports.
• Monitor for client trademark violations in Google, Yahoo, MSN and other applicable channels.
