BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE- Princeton, NJ

 
iMarketing LTD, a full-service online marketing agency serving Fortune 500 clients, with offices in NYC and Princeton, NJ seeks an experienced, take charge Business Development Executive responsible for generating new business by developing new prospects, managing and closing sales opportunities, and developing company sales strategies and techniques.
 
The Business Development Executive will be involved in all aspects of business development and directly responsible for increasing the agency’s client base. As candidate will likely be the prospect’s first interaction with iMarketing, this position requires an in-depth knowledge of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures, along with strong presentation skills. 
 
Specific Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop new sales opportunities and execute appropriate business activity, utilize effective selling techniques and marketing strategies.
  • Provide innovative ways to create new opportunities.
  • Develop advertiser relationships
  • Participate in industry events and tradeshows.
  • Intimately understanding Prospect’s business, industry, competitive environment and objectives to develop plans and to set goals.
  • Provide regular information to company management by summarizing sales activity, reporting business opportunities, results, trends, and competitive information. 
  • Develop and manage an awareness building marketing campaign for the agency
 
Candidate Must Possess:
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in an advertising, marketing, or marketing services agency with at least 5 years of Online/Interactive Marketing experience in a Business Development/Sales role.
  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness
  • Strong, polished presentation skills to VP and/or C-Level prospects
  • Effective problem-solving skills are required: the ability to quickly assess situations, evaluate options and make decisions/draw conclusions.
  • Strong time management and organization skills with attention to detail, plus effective, reliable follow-up.
  • Clear, concise, and persuasive writing abilities.
  • A strong customer service orientation,
  • Technical Requirements: Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Salesforce, Database/Access experience a plus.
 
Ideal Candidate:
  • A fearless “hunter” with successful track record of “consultative selling” at enterprise level
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • The ability to lead negotiations and presentations - strong interpersonal and persuasive written and verbal skills.
  • Positive, can do attitude that develops effective solutions independently
  • Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple projects and quickly adjust to changes to satisfy prospect needs.
  • Independent self-starter with consultative selling skills
  • Craves responsibility and accountability
  • Stays educated on the state of Internet Marketing and Advertising
  • Solid understanding of and experience with online marketing technology, media measurement, ad serving, and campaign tracking and analysis, and Affiliate Service Providers [OAS, DART, MediaMetrix, NielsenNetRatings, Commission Junction, LinkShare, and Performics].
  • Hands-on Media Buying, Affiliate Marketing, and Search Marketing experience a plus
